Spring Registration
On May 10, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the EVUCC Fellowship Hall, we will be having our Spring Registration for new scouts. We have sent flyers home in the Friday Folders last week and this week before this event. We need more help on the night of the event. One den leader is needed to meet with the new parents and then we need help in entertaining the new scouts while we talk with the new parents. If you are available to help, please let Gary Miller know as soon as possible.
May Pack Meeting
Graduation Night!! This month at our Pack Meeting, we will be promoting all the Cub Scouts to their next level of Scouting. Plus, we will be welcoming all the new Tiger Scouts that will be registering at the Spring Recruitment Night. All Cub Scouts and Leaders need to wear their Class A uniform to this Pack Meeting. All the Cub Scouts will be receiving their new books and scarves for their next level of Cub Scouts. Please try to attend this pack meeting and help us celebrate all the accomplishments from the last Scouting year. We will be meeting at the EVUCC Fellowship Hall starting at 7:00 p.m.

Highland Cub Scout Day Camp
Our council has many opportunities this summer for your scout to attend a camp. June 11th – 13th will be the Day Camp in Highland at Silver Lake Park. The cost for the camp is $50, if paid before May 11th, per scout for the three day session which includes a t-shirt, cup, and craft materials. This camp will fulfill one of the requirements for the Outdoor Activity Award. We will be registering our scouts as a unit for the day camp in Highland. If your scout would like to attend the camp, please take a check payable to Pack 43 to Gary Miller. You can use the money in the scout’s account for this activity. Deadline for registration is May 10th.
Volunteers are needed at the Day Camp for helping with the stations, registration, trading post, etc. If you volunteer for all three days, you can deduct $25 from your scout’s registration (one scout only per family). If you would like to volunteer, please contact Gary Miller or Kelly Dahm as soon as possible. There will be a training day on June 3rd for the camp in Highland. We would like to see all our scouts attend one of the camps this summer!
